WHAT IS YOUR MISSION?

Before you reach a goal, your mission must be clear.

Creating a mission statement for your business is a way to keep yourself on track and to let your customers know what you are trying to achieve.

Write your own mission statement.

  • Brainstorm
Take time to write a mission that will give you great satisfaction when it is achieved. Make a list of your goals and your purpose for being in business and use those to form your statement.
  • Be creative
This is the time to layout your dreams for the future of your business. Set a goal and let your mission statement keep you on track.
  • Use inspiration
Who has inspired you? Use experiences and influences in making your mission clear. There is nothing wrong with learning from others successes.
  • Keep it real
Make your mission statement a tangible one. One that you can believe in, live by and uphold your business to.
  • Keep it short
Your mission statement doesn’t have to be a book – Just a few sentences (or less) to help identify you and your business as a focused, determined, and successful force.
